This is the last blog post about the plant related art course I took a few years ago. You can see the earlier posts here and here. The assignment of the first flower painting was to paint the light and shade parts of the flower simultaneously. Whereas the assignment of the second flower was to first paint the whole flower with the lightest color and then add darker colors as shadows on top. The assignment of the dying leaf was to paint a monochrome painting of a plant or a piece of a plant.
